What is “Feather LiftTM?”
The "FeatherLiftTM" is a non-surgical approach to facial skin lifting utilizing the patented "Aptos® threads."

What are “Aptos® Threads?”
The "Aptos® threads" are made of a synthetic suture material called "polypropylene." Aptos® threads are designed with tiny, barb-like bidirectional cogs. Once inserted under the skin, the cogs of the Aptos® threads open in an umbrella-like fashion and form a support structure for the tissue of the face supporting lax and sagging soft tissue.

Who is a candidate for the FeatherLiftTM?
The best candidates are men and women 30 to 60 years of age who have:

  • A drop of the soft tissues of the face and neck.
  • Weakly pronounced aesthetic contours.
  • A flaccid, flat face.
  • Premature aging and sun damaged face.

Is it hard to perform?
Performed under local anesthesia with the patient remaining awake and alert, this procedure is quick and easy. The Aptos® threads are inserted with a special hollow needle under the skin at a required depth, along contours that were previously accentuated on the face.

How does the “Feather LiftTM” differ from a conventional face lift?
This safe procedure takes approximately 30 to 90 minutes to perform, depending on the number of areas being treated. The FeatherLiftTM does not leave any scars, requires no bandages and has minimal down time. Aftercare usually involves ice packs to the treated area, minimal facial movements and gentle tissue manipulation.
